Signs of Culture

When I travel, I always take pictures of signs.  Maybe it’s the English teacher in me.  I love the way Brits say “Stones are not to be thrown.”  rather than “Don’t throw the dang rocks.”

Here are some signs I liked here.

Many signs deal with smoking, and I see lots of smokers here.

Cyclists have some rules.

Keeping things tidy is important.

Most signs are very clear.

A great business name—direct, to the point.

Even better.
